2. Visit the Ballerina Statue

Take a scenic stroll along the coast to see the famous “Dancing Girl” statue, a symbol of Budva, with stunning sea views in the background. The bronze statue is of a young woman who forever waits for her sailor groom. The story behind the statue is the lost love of one ballerina and a sailor from Budva. Every day she came to the shore waiting for his return and watched the waves in the hope that they would bring her beloved man back but as we know how dramatic myths are, the sailor did not return from his voyage, and this young ballerina died of a broken heart.
